Two days summary from Zibo
On our first day on the site Zibo it obviously started with Perstorp AB standard regulations saftey training. After the saftey training we got a local site presentation from Mr Zhai, deputy general manager together with a whole load of other employies. We gave a short presentation in chinese to give more people a chance to get to know us better.
After a short rest the plant tour started. We got a overview of the factory that produces TMP and NEO (polyols) as main product. But even some deeper details around the peripheral equipment such as absoption units, evaporators and heatextenders.
The second day we together with Mr Zhu, EHSQ manager at site. During the morning we went through the fire equipment and controls that everything works correctly. In the afternoon we had a EHS checkround, EHS stand for equipment health and safety, mostly at the TMP plant. It was very interesting because we could find differences between the swedish and chinese working conditions and standard routines.

We have been warned to avoid going outside due to the serious and dangerous pollution. The goverment have gave a recomandation to stay indoors and avoid outside activities. As you can see we thought we could blend in a little bit and at the same time protect our health.
