A few days have passed. The past three days we have been visiting two factories and have had a day off. Last Thursday we were at the company INEOS where they produce polymers. First they had a presentation about the company and then we went on a round-tour through the site. We all noticed that the site was bigger than our hometown, actually it´s the same size as Monaco, we were told. We learned that the polymers were sold to companies like Tetra Pak who use the polymers for coating their products. The polymers keep the products waterproof, impact-proof and protects what the products contains. After our visit at INEOS our two teachers Åsa and Johan came to stay with us for the next few days. In the evening we had dinner and then we all got to experience the traditional carnival were the people dress up in funny costumes and drink a lot of beer.

On Friday we went to the site Bruchhausen which is owned by Perstorp AB. Here we met our classmates Melissa and Saga who practice there workplacetraining there. This factory produces formaldehyde, calciumformiate and penta. They had a powerpoint presentation for us and then we got divided into two groups for the round-tour of the process. In the evening we all went to an asian restaurante.

Yesterday we all had a day off. Some of us went to watch football and saw Bayer Leverkusen and FSV Mainz. The others spent their day with shopping.
